You Are What You Believe
The most common and also the most harmful beliefs are the ones that are self-limiting, says Joe Love


The most important quality you can ever develop is having belief in yourself. The belief that you can, without a shadow of a doubt achieve success in every area of your life. Virtually every person has the capacity to do wonderful things with his or her life. But the greatest single obstacle for most people is self-doubt. Many people wish they could accomplish certain things but lack the belief that they can actually do it.
When people under achieve in any part of their life, it is their beliefs more than anything else that hold them back. Self-limiting beliefs act as breaks on our ability to achieve our goals. Many of us have high hopes, dreams, and aspirations, but we let doubts creep in and undermine our talents, abilities, and effectiveness.
Each one of us has feelings of inferiority because we feel that we are not good enough. We think that we are not as good as other people, and we feel that we are not good enough to acquire and enjoy the things we want in life. Often we feel that we don?t deserve good things. Even if we work hard and have some achievements in our life, we often feel that we are not really entitled to our successes.
The Universal Law of Belief says that whatever we believe, with feeling becomes our reality. We don?t believe what we see; instead, we see what we believe. Our beliefs form a screen as to how we see the world, and we never allow any information that is not consistent with our beliefs to pass through it. Even if we have beliefs that are totally inconsistent with reality, we won?t let them through because our beliefs have become true for us.
The most common and also the most harmful beliefs are the ones that are
self-limiting. These are beliefs about yourself. For example, believing that you can?t achieve something because you don?t have enough money or education. You might believe you
can?t achieve something because you are the wrong sex, race, age, or it is because of the economy. Most of these beliefs are not true, but they will hold you back nonetheless.
The fact is, you deserve every good thing that you are capable of acquiring through the use of your talents.
The only real limitation on what you can be and
have, is if you lack the desire. If you you set a goal and want to achieve it badly enough, nothing in the world can stop you from achieving it, as long as you?re willing to persist long and hard enough.
To develop positive beliefs, you have to decide exactly where you want to end up in the future. The clearer you are about the result you want in your future, the easier it will be for you to change your actions and behaviours in the short term. This in turn, will assure that you achieve what you want in the long term.
Once you?ve clearly decided on the type of person you want to be, you will have already taken a major first step in developing new beliefs. In order to incorporate your new beliefs into your every day life, you have to discipline yourself to act exactly in every situation as if you already were that person. When you begin to act like the successful person you want to become, you will actually adopt their values, qualities, and characteristics. And they will then become a permanent part of your personality.
If you consistently act like the person you want to become every day and in every situation it will begin a chain reaction. Your attitude will change and become more positive. This will then build stronger and more positive beliefs. And your beliefs will then, exert a positive influence on your values.
You have no limitations on your potential except for those that you believe you have. Successful people are not extraordinary or special in any way. They are not different from you or I. But, all successful people do have the unwavering belief that they can accomplish anything that they really want in life. You are a good person. From this day forward, see yourself as the very best you can be, and refuse to accept any limitations on your possibilities. Once you develop that belief in yourself, and you act in accordance with your beliefs, your future will be unlimited.

ULTIMATE MEDITATION



Focus your mind away from the clutter of routine and spend quality time with yourself by going within, says Owen Waters


Peace can sometimes be so far away, and inner bliss, even farther away. To attain peace, spend some real quality time by going within and you will find the sense of peace that lies within. Visit the place where inner bliss dwells and waits patiently for your return.
Let yourself unwind and compose yourself for a few precious moments of peace. Remember that your mind is much more far-reaching than your physical brain. Your mind, as consciousness, is non-physical, while your brain is just the physical translator of your consciousness.
Your mind, therefore, always has the ability to tell your brain: ?Shsh! It?s meditation time!?
Focus your mind away from the clutter of day-to-day living and turn your attention inwards to the peaceful core of your inner being. Then think of the deepest possible state of consciousness. And what could that state be? It is the state of consciousness known as infinite being. The word infinite reflects the idea of ultimate, while the word being refers to a state of awareness, rather than a doing activity. Infinite being is infinite consciousness without a focus upon any specific activity.
Infinite being doesn?t have to do anything, it already is everything.
It is important to appreciate that the state of infinite being is not ?out there? somewhere external to us. Infinite being encompasses all consciousness, including all manifestation. We are that consciousness, as is everything else in existence.
In meditation practices, affirmations are often used to focus the mind. By simply repeating the words ?I am?, you affirm your true nature as consciousness. In the case of infinite being meditation, we affirm our innermost identity as the ultimate, infinite consciousness.
The affirmation ?I am infinite being? is the most powerful affirmation possible within the English language.
The phrase ?I am infinite being? is an affirmation of your oneness with the ultimate potential, the source of all life, the consciousness from which all life sprang. You are one with that universal consciousness. Everything in manifestation is one with that universal consciousness. Now is the time to consciously affirm your ultimate potential. It may take courage to begin with, but the results are more than worth the effort.
If you find issues arising, such as a feeling of unworthiness in your alignment with the all that is, with infinite being, just let those thoughts go, then gently bring your mind back into focus upon the affirmation. You do not have to justify the words, or settle any internal argument about them, just because of some prior conditioning as to how someone said you ?should? think in this life. Think independently, think infinitely, and you will connect with the consciousness of your ultimate potential.
Have the inner discipline to stay with the affirmation and let any issues fade away unchallenged. Your inner self knows the meaning of the words and resonates in joy with their exact and literal truth. Every time you make this affirmation, you become more connected with infinite being. Any lesser thoughts are then healed within the light of greater truth.
Find a quiet space to sit down for a few minutes, close your eyes, and start looking for the quiet space within. To keep your brain occupied with the task at hand, focus your attention on the even flow of your breath as it passes in and out of your nostrils.
As you breathe each in-breath, mentally repeat the affirmation ?I am infinite being?. On the out-breath, simply allow your attention to follow the flow of air from your nostrils. To induce an immediate calming effect,
allow each outbreath to take longer than each in-breath.
Life energy, also known as etheric energy, is conditioned primarily within the human spinal column. From there, it is distributed to the rest of the body via the subtle nervous system. Most key functions in the human body owe their operation primarily to the supply of etheric life energy, rather than to the supply of electrical energy. Etheric energy, like consciousness, is nonphysical and yet it is behind all life.
To help enhance the natural flow of life energy within your spine while performing this meditation, it is preferable to sit upright in an erect chair. As you progress with this meditation, the natural flow of life energy within your spine will become enhanced, bringing an enlivened awareness to your consciousness.
When distracting thoughts arise ? which they will ? treat them with patience and understanding. Put each distracting thought aside so that you can continue with the infinite being meditation. If a thought seems important or urgent, then it will be sure to return later, after your meditation session has finished.
There are a number of ways to enhance your meditation experience. One is to reserve a small space, such as the corner of a quiet room, where only meditation is conducted. That space then becomes more conducive to a meditation environment. A small table or surface can be covered with items that you connect with spiritual practice. Candles and incense are especially useful as they provide some initial focus for the senses.
It also helps to always use the same chair, one that is constructed of a nonmetallic material. Metal chairs attract etheric life energy away from you, which is great for the chair, but not so good for the meditation session.
A small clock completes your setting, and clean, light clothing, reserved especially for meditation, further enhances the atmosphere. A shower or bath before meditation is very valuable, as water is a powerful cleanser. If, for example, you have just come home from a hectic day at work, then your energy body will be filled with the distractions of the day, stored in etheric energy form.
The water not only cleanses you of physical impurities, but also the etheric energy impurities that do not belong in your energy body.
The reason that water is such an effective energy cleanser lies in its chemical composition. Water consists of hydrogen and oxygen. The greater role of oxygen is to carry lifegiving, etheric energy.
The best investment of your time each day is to spend 20 minutes in meditation. Make the time for this to happen. Make it the day?s first priority. The easiest habit to adopt is one which makes up the first activity of the day. Making it a routine will also reinforce the effects of the meditation.

Day night, I thought he was acting
weird. We had made plans to meet at a
cafe to have some coffee. I was shopping with my friends
all day long, soIely thought he was upset at the fact that I
was a bit late,
but he made no comment.Conversatio n wasn't flowing so

I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk, he agreed but
he kept quiet and absent. I asked
him what was wrong - he said,

"Nothing."I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said it had
nothing to do with me and not to worry.

On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept
driving. I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, "I love u,too."

When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore.
He just sat there and watched TV.; he seemed distant and absent.Finally I
decided to go to bed. About 10 minutes later he came to bed. I decided
that I could not take it anymore,

so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep.

I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep. I don't know what to
do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else.

My life is gonna be a disaster.

GROWING IN LOVE



In relationships, we learn as we go and aspire naturally towards a certain perfection, says Rick Jelusich




In order to feel the effects of our actions, we often associate feelings together that are better left separate. We tend to act, sometimes in enabling ways, out of the goodness of our hearts; nonetheless not really serving in the correct or optimal manner the needs of both parties in a relationship.
We often fall into the trap of associating two states of consciousness together, hoping for the best while reaping the worst. The emotion of love often will become mixed with other feelings such as guilt, obligation, respect and loyalty. What we say we are doing in love sometimes turns into a continuation of a lessthan-optimal exchange of energies. This effectively roots us in lower relationships, where expectations are not met.
When you are engaged in such an exchange, it is often extremely difficult to see the true dynamics of the relationship because of personal investment of emotions and personalities. Do you notice that you come to a point in these relationships beyond which you cannot pass?
Would you accept the possibility that you already have the answers to these seeming dilemmas within you, and that you are playing out the experience? Often, the answer comes from yourself, and your desire to outwardly manifest solutions to the dramas unfolding within you to bring to wholeness and completeness. It is your courage to love yourself enough to command the blessings that are your due. The individual that seeks true healing will always manifest the healer, in manifold ways. The finger of God is the ultimate decision that you make in order to refine and define the boundaries that are the posts of your comfort zone. Sometimes, the most loving word that you can say to another
is ?no.?
For, in stating what is and is not allowable for you, sets the conditions of what you allow into your life. It is separating love from guilt and fear, and treating each in their own due regard. If you were in an enabling relationship where, for the intense love you feel for another you allow an unhealthy relationship to continue, it may indeed be most healthy by saying ?no? to the continuation of allowing the other person to transgress your boundaries.
If you can look at it as loving that other person in the highest possible way, you are actually helping them more by setting them free from specific interactions with you. And you know that the interactions in life do not change unless you change them, for you are consciously altering your position and acting on your increased perception of where the energies in a relationship are really going. Do you sabotage yourself in relationships, capitulating to an expectation that you have in your partner that may or may not come to pass? Do you expect them to someday change or to become what you desire in the best for them, meanwhile sacrificing and sabotaging your joy in the now? Do you have a dread of commitment to your partner, for fear you may be tied down or obligated? Have you attached to your fervent love of your partner the feelings of guilt and obligation, obscuring the beauty you saw in that person in the first place?
We learn through our experiences. In relationships, we engage in an exchange of emotions, feelings, and actions that pass through the nexus of our evolution?s snapshot in time. We learn as we go, and aspire naturally towards a certain perfection, made the more holy by a spiritual commitment to perceive the higher truths of our existence.
Opening such a foray into truth, swaddled in the folds of the search for God in love, wisdom and the will, we will obtain levels of truth that are sometimes unsettling, often surprising, and definitely unpredictable. If you engage in such a path, you will learn discernment where it applies most; within yourself. Sometimes painfully and sometimes repeatedly, these lessons of life come as surely as the tide and are made ever more so intense according to your desire to aspire.
In relationships, those challenge points you come to are set up by you, for you. It is in the claiming and stating of your will, that the terms of your relationships are set. It is in the constancy of the maintenance of your will that the relationship gains continuity according to your desires. It is also in the open heart and the open mind that you allow your will to shift and grow with new information that inevitably comes about through the living of life.
How much sweeter it is to have a clear mind and a clear heart; not harnessed to the millstone of guilt, obligation, or fear. Can you say at this time that you are clear in your relationships? Are there some illusions within the body of your relationships that are ready for dispelling and clarity? The illusion you clear, you do for yourself, and the effect it has on your partner is a reflection of the harmlessness, love and clarity you put into it.
